Tallgrass Broadcasting, LLC has agreed to acquire 5 radio stations from Broadcast Entertainment Corporation. The buyer, Tallgrass Broadcasting, LLC, is headed by Bill Kurtis and Joe Walker, managing partner and CEO. The seller, Broadcast Entertainment Corporation is headed by Thomas J. Crane, President and has no other broadcast interests.
The FM stations to be acquired are KICA-FM, Farwell, Texas, KKYC, Clovis, New Mexico, and KMUL-FM, Muleshoe, Texas as well as AM stations KICA, Clovis, New Mexico, KMUL, Farwell, Texas. The purchase price is $1,250,000.*
Bill Whitley, Tom McKinley, Bill Lytle and Mike Lytle, were the brokerage team from Media Services Group, the exclusive brokers on this transaction.
