Claro Communications has closed on its purchase of KOPY AM and FM licensed to Alice, Texas from Sendero Multimedia. The Buyer, Claro Communications is headed by Gerald Benavides who also has broadcast interests in the Corpus Christi and Boerne/San Antonio markets in Texas. The Seller, Sendero Multimedia is headed by A.A. Munoz, President, and has no other broadcast interests.
