Jerry Johnson Joins Media Services Group

Media Services Group, the country’s largest media brokerage firm, announced today that Jerry Johnson of Johnson Communication Properties, Inc. is joining the company as a Director, effective immediately.

Prior to forming Johnson Communication Properties, Inc. some twenty-five years ago, Jerry Johnson was associated with WCCO-TV in Minneapolis. His fourteen-year association with WCCO, coupled with twenty-five years as a station broker, has provided him with a keen knowledge of the media industry and the "deal process" of buying and selling properties.

During the past twenty-five years, he has been involved with transactions for more than 160 media properties covering nine states. Additionally, Johnson has appraised more than 60 broadcast properties in the Midwest and surrounding areas.

Johnson is a member of the National Association of Media Brokers and a member of five broadcasting organizations, allowing him the opportunity to regularly attend state and national conferences and conventions. He has authored articles for the Minnesota Broadcasting Association newsletter and contributes to many national trade publications
