George R. Reed, the Managing Director of Media Services Group, a leading full service media brokerage, valuation and consulting firm, has been has been appointed by the General Court of Justice, Buncombe County, North Carolina as Receiver for a group of western North Carolina radio stations. The appointment is pending FCC approval.
Operated by Aisling Broadcasting of Banner Elk, LLC, the stations include WECR-FM, Beech Mountain; WATA-AM, Boone; WMMY-FM, Jefferson; WECR-AM, Newland; WZJS-FM, Banner Elk; and WXIT-AM, Blowing Rock.
Mr. Reed has exclusively retained Media Services Group to market the radio stations.
