Claro Communications has agreed to purchase KRBL-FM licensed to Idalou, Texas from Triumph Communications Inc.* Claro Communications is headed by Jerry Benavides and has additional broadcast interests in Alice, Corpus Christi and Boerne, Texas.
Triumph Communications is headed by Kenneth Ramsey and Kelly Ramsey and has additional broadcast interests in White Hall (Pine Bluff) Arkansas.
The purchase price is $450,000. Bill Whitley of the Dallas office of Media Services Group served as the exclusive broker representing the seller in this transaction.
