Polnet Communications Ltd. Purchases Chicago Area TV Station Channel 24 from Nelson TV, Inc.
Two Chicago Radio Companies Swap A Chicagoland TV Station
Polnet Communications Ltd. has closed on its purchase of Class A Television Station WPVN-CA licensed to Aurora, IL along with its digital companion WPVN-LD from Nelson TV, Inc. Polnet Communications Ltd. owns radio stations WEEF, WNVR, WPJX and WKTA in the Chicago area.
Nelson TV, Inc. through its affiliated companies, owns radio stations WSQR, WCSJ AM & FM, WSPY-AM, WSPY-FM, WJDK and WSPY TV-30 & DT 18 in the Chicago area.
The purchase price is $1,600,000. Bob Heymann of the Chicago office of Media Services Group served as the exclusive broker representing the seller in this transaction. |
